01Who we are
This notice is issued by Betty Ow, a real estate salesperson registered with the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA Reg No. R013833B), operating as “Betty Ow Realty” / BETTY OW REALTOR, of PropNex Realty Pte. Ltd. (CEA Licence No. L3008022J) (“we”, “us”). It explains how we handle personal data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
02What we collect
- Your full name.
- The contact detail(s) you choose to give: email address and/or WhatsApp number (+65).
- Your consent choices (which channel(s) you ticked), the date and time, and the form and notice versions shown to you.
- Any information you choose to share when you reply to us.
03Why we use it
To send you marketing messages about property updates, launches, neighbourhood notes, and related realty services, only on the channel(s) you consented to; to respond to your enquiries; to keep records of your consent and withdrawal; and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
04How we use it & service providers
We use trusted service providers (data intermediaries) to operate this service. Categories include:
- Form host: to host this website and receive form submissions.
- Email tool: to send email updates and manage unsubscribes.
- WhatsApp Business: to send WhatsApp updates and manage STOP / removal requests.
These providers process data only on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data, or share it with others for their own marketing. We may disclose data to PropNex Realty Pte. Ltd. for compliance and supervision, or where required by law.
05Overseas transfers
Some service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, for example through contractual terms.
06Consent records
We keep a record of your consent: your name, the contact detail(s) given, the channel(s) ticked, the date and time, and the form and notice versions. This lets us show what you agreed to and honour withdrawals accurately.
07Do Not Call (DNC) Registry
Where Singapore’s DNC Registry rules apply, we check numbers against the Registry before sending marketing messages unless we hold your clear and unambiguous consent, given in writing or another accessible form. Withdrawing consent stops further marketing messages to that number.
08Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above. If you withdraw, we stop marketing to you and keep a minimal suppression and consent record so we do not contact you again, and for as long as legal or regulatory requirements need. Data no longer needed is securely deleted or anonymised.
09Your rights & withdrawal
- Withdraw consent anytime: use the email unsubscribe link, reply STOP or ask for removal on WhatsApp, or email betty@bettyowrealty.com.
- Access: ask what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used in the past year.
- Correction: ask us to correct errors in your data.
We aim to process withdrawals promptly and in any case within the period allowed by the PDPA.
